In preparation of the password reset implementation for FTP command line users mentioned in the Password Changes listserv dated 11/27/2017, submitters will receive a Reference ID(s) in their mailbox root directory by 01/28/2018. The filename in the root directory will be submitter_to_reference_ID.txt.

On February 11, 2018, FTP command line users will be required to use expiring passwords when accessing the Front-End Systems (EDFES, FERAS and PDFS). On this date, or when you login after February 11^th, you will be prompted to use a new password.  New passwords will be sent to the Technical Contact person on file for each submitter ID assigned.

This change enhances CMS’ already strong network authentication requirements, further securing our collaboration environment.
